Iain completed his JD at Queen’s University Faculty of Law. While at Queen’s, Iain competed in the international John H. Jackson Moot Court Competition on international trade law, in Bogotá, Colombia, where is team was awarded ‘Best Respondent Factum’. He also acted as the Co-President of the Queen’s Sports & Entertainment Law Society.

Through Queen’s, Iain spent a semester abroad in Glasgow, Scotland, at the University of Glasgow, and completed an International Business Law Certificate at Bader College in East Sussex, England. While completing this certificate, Iain participated in a small-scale International Trade Law MOOT in Geneva, Switzerland.

Before starting law school, Iain graduated with Distinction from the University of Toronto, having completed his Honours Bachelor of Arts with a Specialist in Arts Management and a Major in Music & Culture. During this time, Iain worked and volunteered with a variety of national and local non-profit organizations.

Outside of Law, Iain enjoys traveling and attending arts and culture events around the Greater Toronto Area.

Iain is anticipated to be called to the bar in June, 2026.
