Meghan joined Richards Advocacy as an associate lawyer after completing her articling and practicing in Canadian immigration law. Meghan completed her JD at McGill University Faculty of Law and was called to the bar in July 2023.

Meghan discovered a passion for client advocacy and human rights work while working with the Canadian Human Rights Commission, conducting complex investigations into human rights complaints submitted by the public.

During law school, Meghan volunteered with Student Advocacy, a division of the Legal Information Clinic, representing students in disciplinary cases. She also volunteered with Pro Bono Students Canada, helping to make family law information and resources available
to the public.

Meghan works primarily with our investigations practice and aims to serve her clients with empathy and determination.
